John Hopkins gets hitchedPhotos by Teresa Ferenstein In a Las Vegas ceremony, Moto GP ace John Hopkins wed his girlfriend (NOW WIFE) Ashleigh. Hopkins, an avid racer and California resident grew up racing motocross and mini road race bike like the Yamaha YSR50. For 2008 Hopkins will contest the Moto GP world title aboard a Kawasaki. Hopkins is also into supermoto as well and right before his switch to Kawasaki, Moto Greg Ferenstein and SMR were working on a supermoto project bike for hopper. But now the bike is the wrong color so we have to start over again. Maybe in '08 we might catch Hopper sliding his way into the turns at local Southern California tracks. The wedding took place at the legendary Hart Rock Hotel by the swimming pool. The couple will spend their honeymoon in French Polynesia.
