The Entire 2007 Season Is On the Line for SuperMoto Racers at Pats Acres Raceway
Santa Monica, CA - October 10, 2007 ? Racers are checking their oil, fine tuning their set-up and blipping their throttle to get ready for the West Coast swing of the 2007 NASMOTO AMA SuperMoto Grand Championship at Pats Acres Raceway (PARC), on October 14th for the NASMOTO AMA Western SuperMoto Championship presented by Pats Acres.
This is the final race of the season and carries with it all the marbles and bragging rights for racers west of the Mississippi . The picturesque 43 acre PARC was built back in the 1930's and is located outside of Portland , in the city of Canby , Oregon . PARC will host this exciting NASMOTO /AMA sanctioned SuperMoto event.

The weekend schedule includes promoter practice Saturday, October 13, from 10am to 1pm for $40, and heat races and timed qualifying for non-qualified NASMOTO racers in the early afternoon. Racers that qualify on Saturday or were qualified at previous NASMOTO Grand Prix events are eligible to race for the Championship on Sunday. Pre-registration is through xbux.com.
Classes - The NASMOTO GP of Oregon will consist of championship classes including SM1 Open, SM2 250, Open Amateur, Vet 35, Novice, Premier Mini Moto and the Sportsman Class. A 1st place AMA Championship Number plate will be awarded for each championship class. The SMX Open Invitational class will showcase top pro riders with top performers receiving cash purse awards.
Wheelie Contest - The fun never stops at PARC and Saturday afternoon racers can enter the wheelie contest or drag race. The rubber will be flying and the engines shrieking as the riders compete in this winner-take-all format. After the motobikes are put to bed the evening is capped off with a $10 BBQ.
Contingency - The SuperMoto industry has stepped up with contingency support for the dual NASMOTO AMA East and West SuperMoto Championships with KTM, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Metzeler and Michelin participating.
