Doug Henry to Promote Connecticut Round

We just heard some awesome news regarding round two of the 2008 Supermoto National. Yes, some of the rumors are true. Doug Henry has stepped in to take the sport of supermoto to the next level by promoting the second round of the series. After the original promoters pulled out, Henry was right there to save the day. Although it was announced the round was cancelled, in fact the race was never officially cancelled as Henry seamlessly stepped in and took over.

 

Henry is a motorcycle racer and will always be a racer. His love for supermoto is evident through his work with Team Yamaha - Graves Racing, his phenomenal TV commentary during ESPN’s Navy Moto X World Championships and now his efforts to promote the Connecticut supermoto SM National. Even following his career-ending injury, Henry has been 100 percent behind the sport and his smile and positive attitude has never left. 

 

Complete details regarding the Connecticut round, as well as the rest of the 2008 series, should be announced late this week or early next week. As things are going right now, everything seems to be on track for 2008, as far as we have been informed. XTRM Sports Network/XBux.com, Gavin Trippe and DMG have been in meetings and SMR has been told it all looks very positive.
