Need a sponsor, ask me how?
American Supercamp is proud to announce a new leathers sponsorship program aimed at helping youth dirt-trackers (supermoto? editor notes) around the country with the ever present problem of growing out of their leathers. In partnership with Alpinestars, American Supercamp will be accepting resumes for the program that will enable eight young riders, from the ages of 10-14 years old, to use a set of Alpinestars leathers, along with gloves and boots for the 2007 season. In an effort to not only create great champions, but to also create great motorcyclists, participants will be required to send a race resume along with an essay, and a copy of their last report card from school. The essay is to pertain to how motorcycle racing has aided, and will continue to aid, in other aspects of their lives. Danny Walker of American Supercamp explains. “We feel we are in a great position to help tomorrows champions today. But more than that, we feel this program can help the future of our sport with an included emphasis on the skills that kids can learn and apply to their entire lives. ” The chosen racers will be selected by a panel consisting of Danny Walker, Chris Carr, Scott "Scooter" Larm, and an Alpinestars represenitive. Application deadline for the 2007 race season is March 24th. However, applications are accepted year round by American Supercamp for future opportunities and sponsorship possibilities.
