More Crappy News: Goodspeed Metzeler Dave
It was another sad day for the small supermoto community in Southern California. Metzeler Dave Stephens, one of the nicest guys you could ever meet passed away today after a short bout with cancer.
It was only a few months ago that Metzeler Dave was out at the track with a big smile on his face changing tires at the races. It wasn’t like Dave was making a killing selling a few sets of tires each weekend. It was almost as if he just came out to hang out with friends and provide the racers a much-needed service. With his daughter close to his side, it was always nice to see Dave drive in with his rig.
Dave had a huge heart and truly enjoyed helping people. He will be missed.
So Cal racers were already planning a benefit ride on January 21 to help out the family and now they need the help even more. So anyone that wants to come out and ride this Sunday, remember that it’s all to help out Metzeler Dave’s family. Beg borrow or steal a bike or just come out and ride with knobbies or slap on some street rubber and spin some laps for a good cause
